A Family Story Built Around Cars.

Four generations of automotive heritage, hands-on engineering and motorsport experience — continuing today from Browns Garage in Thame.

About Browns Thame

Automotive Heritage That Started in 1936.

The Browns family has been involved in vehicle servicing and repair since 1936, when William Brown opened the family's first garage in Beaconsfield.

Following generations expanded the family involvement in the motor trade through garages in High Wycombe, Bourne End, Loudwater and Seer Green, including Ford, Skoda and Suzuki franchises as well as Gilera motorcycles.

William Brown's great-grandson, Alex Brown, continued that family tradition by establishing Browns Thame in 2010.

Cars may have changed enormously since 1936, but good service and a genuinely hands-on approach still matter just as much.
